ABOUT
ME.
Mia Siu-Ying Farrell
I am a creative fashion practitioner specialising in fashion communication, with a strong foundation in visual storytelling, in-depth research, and creative strategy. My passion for publishing was sparked during an optional module, where I discovered a deep appreciation for editorial design, narrative development, and the power of the written word.

Beyond my love for creative writing, I thrive in hands-on, physically creative processes—bringing ideas to life through tangible, immersive storytelling. For my major final project, I explored innovative ways to integrate sustainability into the hype-driven culture of streetwear, combining my fascination with the psychology of fashion marketing and its influence on consumer behaviour.

I have worked on projects with brands including Tatty Devine and Dawson Denim, and I am currently collaborating with
Ace + Freak. My multidisciplinary approach allows me to bridge the gap between research, storytelling, and design, crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences across different sectors of fashion.
